I still think we should take Beveley and Lou Williams. They are so cocky that they just might give them to us thinking they have one of those 4 free agents in the bag.
Williams is a chucker, but he can flat out score if we need him to. Beverley is a lock down defender.
Before Hayward's decision, we show him this roster:
PG Beverley, Exum, Neto, NWG
SG Hood, Williams, Mitchell
SF JoeJ
PF Favors, Bolomboy
C Gobert, Bradley
We tell him all thats missing is him. I think that roster is pretty comparable to Boston's for next season. And we would have a ton of flexibility with $30 million of quality expiring contracts of Joe, Lou, and Favors to use with 2018 picks we might be able to parlay into something better should we choose.
