George Hill coming to Utah

Jazz got the total worse end of this..
Indiana basically upgraded Teague with Hill becauce yall were stupid enough to give the number 12 pick to a guy who averaged 12 points and 5.9 assist last year. WOW
Atlanta unloaded Teague for a late lottery pick. Only because Utah was dumb enough. I like Hill for the Jazz and think he is a solid player but gave uop way to much for him. The other 2 teams clearly made out better and it isn't even close.

Hill is from Indiana, he loved playing for the hometown Pacers...I'm curious to know if he's happy about this trade?

He didn't love playing for them however. Felt like he was never loved by the team.. Yes he is from Indiana so I guess half your post is solid and the other half is garbage.

I agree with the general idea. I like Hill just fine. Would have preferred getting Teague, or getting a pick back from either Indy or Atlanta. Should have been Teague to Indy, Hill and #20 to the Jazz, #12 and Burke to Atlanta.

A 9 for Mack and an 8 for Neto? Are you kidding? And the first trade was a 0. Burke is a bust, Giannis is a star and Adams is very good. And you can't just "null" out trades. Selling a pick or trading out for an even lower future pick represents a missed opportunity. Jazz should be drafting and stashing Euros if they have no roster room, not just throwing a couple million dollars extra into the Millers' pockets.

Gah you're so arrogant. I didn't give the Burke trade a 0 dependent on what we give and what we get. A year of Trey Burke over Jamaal Tinsley warrants a 2 or 3. The fact that Giannis and Adams were on the board when we drafted means nothing because I'm not grading his drafting.

As said above, yeah getting a quality rotation player, one who nearly lifts your team to the playoffs, for dirt cheap is a great trade. Not every great trade is gonna be Durant for pennies.

I can absolutely null out a trade if it's literally just our garbage for your garbage. Why add some trash 2nd rounder for trash 2nd rounder trade to the mix when we're doing a non weighted average? Like legit who gives a **** about the Jamaal Tinsley trade? It was a null. Garbage for garbage.

You can feel free to do your own little grades if you want, but I know your pessimistic *** will give the Gobert and hood trades sevens because we had to give them something in return.

I like the trade. I'm bummed we don't get to add another young lotto talent but this is a smart move by the FO. We have to win now. If we don't make the playoffs, I'd think there's a greater chance Hayward bolts than if we do and maybe win a couple playoff games. It's also insurance for Exum coming off the injury. And of course, it adds depth. Getting him, Exum and Burks, as well as maybe another solid FA, and some 2nd rounders, is adding a lot of legit talent and depth to this team.

Exum (20), Hill (28)
Hood (14), Exum (8), Burks (26)
Hayward (34), Hood (14)
Favors (27), Lyles (21)
Gobert (31), Favors (6), Lyles (4), Withey (7)

Or something like this.

I have a growing love with this trade. After a while and you are in the position the Jazz are in, you have to begin to add pieces to help you win now. George does that. Dude can hit a 3, play some D, and is cool with being here. Hard to knock a trade like that when you aren't enamored with the talent in the draft.

I was so freaking excited to get Al. He was the low post scorer Boozer wasn't and he said he was going to defend. Him with Okur...we were freaking set.
Me too.
