Quin doesn't use timeouts to stop runs. Anyone else notice that?

Korver is bawse. I think he was leading the hawks team in scoring average coming into the game
 
That dunk Millsap had before the half was awesome. Blew past Booker and rose up before Favors knew what hit'em. Difficult to be too upset with this game. Young teams typically suck on the road. We'll figure it out.

I saw a lot of bright spots. Hayward, our go to guy, just went cold. While two former jazzmen went off. I've always liked Millsap and Korver. Self made men that don't rely on supreme size or athleticism.
 
-These are exactly the types of games Hayward has had over the years. You have to bring it every night. 11 pts isn't going to cut it.

-Exum is starting to fade into rookie land on this trip.

-Burks was boss tonight. I'd love to see more consistency out of him.

-Kanters and Favors carried us tonight, but each had mistakes if we are looking for reasons for the loss.

-Trey's shot will come. When you are getting 11 dimes a night you are helping the team.

Hayward also found Kanter and Burks for wide open 3's in the final 4 minutes of the game. Both missed shots. Hayward's fault.
 
Hawks commentators were suprized about Jazz offense, not going through Kanter in the post more, for the last minutes of the game. Kanter could have easily dropped 30 today and Utah would have won.
 
I just didn't understand some of the coaches decisions down the stretch. Tough loss.

Oh well. GO JAZZ!!!!

Pretty much how I have felt every game.

I like Snyder the offensive coordinator. Not sure how I like Snyder the in-game manager.

NBA , regardless of coaching, still comes down to made shots.

We didn't. On a nite when Hayward was cold, we will probably not win.

Heck, he was 0-3 from the FT line.

Late time out during that last Hawks run
Having Hayward inbound the ball on the last play
Players shooting repeated long Js when they struggled to score instead of getting to the rim.

Good learning game and I hope everyone takes it and tries to improve. Still thrilled with the coach and this team.
