I think the best reflection of his impact is PIE. He is second to Favors (18.0) on the team.
The best not stat attribute has to be his passion. Rudy is a big part of the soul of the team and outward demonstrations such as the salute and physically moving teammates into place on defense show he has a deep desire to win. I think that doesn't do justice to the emotion inside him, I think eating souls gets closer to the mark. Rudy is a warrior.

As far as how the Jazz fare while he is gone, survive is the word that comes to mind.

You got to play Favors,Hayward,Hood,Burks 30 to 36 minutes a game similar to Detroit and Neto over Burke starting for same reason as all season ,better pace,better defense,and better ball movement

Rudy is important to this team. No question about that.

That said this team if it is a playoff team and wants to be competitive in the future at a high level will step up. We will see what this team is made of and we will see who steps up and makes another step. This can make good players great and I expect that to happen to a couple players on this team. I also think our weak bench will step up and we will identify who is our backup C and PF. They will get a lot more minutes and have to play better or we will know that might not be our future.

This injury is rough but it will make this team better in the long run and we will still make the playoffs.

We will also get to see a better offense. Rudy is a great defender but our offense will step up.
