Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?

Morons.

Vizzini was pretty smart. He knows one of the first blunders is never enter into a land war in Asia. Too bad we didn't listen.q
I always liked the story, told by Socrates, of how he tried to disprove he was the wisest man in Athens:

“After his service in the war, Socrates devoted himself to his favorite pastime: the pursuit of truth.

His reputation as a philosopher, literally meaning 'a lover of wisdom', soon spread all over Athens and beyond. When told that the Oracle of Delphi had revealed to one of his friends that Socrates was the wisest man in Athens, he responded not by boasting or celebrating, but by trying to prove the Oracle wrong.

So Socrates decided he would try and find out if anyone knew what was truly worthwhile in life, because anyone who knew that would surely be wiser than him. He set about questioning everyone he could find, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer. Instead they all pretended to know something they clearly did not.

Finally he realized the Oracle might be right after all. He was the wisest man in Athens because he alone was prepared to admit his own ignorance rather than pretend to know something he did not”.

I'm basing my intelligence off of conversations I've had, which I've had many. I've already pointed out how Thriller, the sheep picture guy, Red, GF, 2pc cant do simple math. They truly don't understand that just because there is "exponential growth" that 75,000,000 is a astonishingly huge number. They don't understand that exponential growth eventually hits a peak. Just like the Delta variant will do.

Thriller literally hated on me with him saying that Florida will have more deaths than Afghanistan in a week yet he was over 2,000 off. Out of 2500 for f* sakes. I mean jfc .. it's basic math. Addition...

These are the same guys that mocked me around every corner for pointing out that the virus could've came from a lab. Despite ample and insane evidence, they still don't. They don't question basic, very very basic questions like why did Fauci lie and cover up the lab leak theory? Instead they believe it came from a market a block away from the lab. They won't even question it. I'm truly sorry but that's lack of mental awareness and flat out dumb.

They spent how many days crying about Trump when a random source said Trump hated on our military? Weeks actually. Despite 30+ witnesses saying otherwise they believe a person that more than likely doesn't even exist heard something yet not one other person there did. That's stupidity. They get so bent out of shape over literal rumors...literal rumors, yet where are these guys when Biden is responsible for the biggest failure in military history? Hiding.

I once asked fish what socialism is and he stupidly responded "firetrucks". So the entire concept of socialism is a firetruck... Now a firetruck is a social construct sure but to think the ideology and the complete transfer of wealth, power, and ownership, is a firetruck is uneducated to say the very least.

Thriller thought Tulsi was a Russian spy because the worst candidate in history said so. Head scratchingly dumb. Embarrassing really. That take a lot of derp.

How many years did these extremely intelligent posters spend on the Russia hoax? You know the one where Hillary Clinton paid Christopher Steele for Russian disinformation/propaganda? You know, actual collusion... Still waiting for that pee tape Russian propaganda these idiots fell for.

Red tried to one up me by using a self proclaimed tabloid as a source. I read 2 sentences before I knew it was a tabloid. If you have to use a tabloid, without recognizing it's a tabloid, while I did, it's obvious where the intelligence lies.

Just a year ago they completely lost it when Trump put kids in cages. You know the Obama cages used to deport a record amount of people... Now Biden has record kids in cages, Corona ridden, lice ridden, with no outside time, no place to move, no showers, and starving because he's serving them rotten food. It's pretty ****ed up how they don't care anymore. Not one bit. Guys and girls here like Colton(well all the hypocrites) likened the places to Nazi Germany which itself is just flat out stupidity. Again, I'm sorry but it's true. Now silence. They never really cared, they just allowed the media to think for them. If they cared then they'd care now.

I could go on for days but this is why they ignore me. I call them out and they are not adult or mature enough to counter me. Am I the sharpest tool in the shed? Nah. But comparatively, I'm light years ahead of Mr. Firetrucks (who rarely says anything intelligent). Many of these guys used to be liberal... Now they practice communistic approach with their censorship of the media, forcing medical experiments on others, bullying children into covering their identities. That's actually more Taliban like, not communist let's be fair. Just imagine the mental health issue kids who can't even see each other's faces will have. Child abusers imo.
If I could "like" this a thousand times, I would. It deserves that level of appreciation.

"Intelligence "is basically conceived as a power of the mind to conceive valid ideas about Life, the Universe, or One Brow..... without referring to the compendium compiled on OB's blog.....well one's own self..... or others. It is very controversial, because we reject most objective standards on the subject. Plus, we can't really presume we know more than anyone else, because we might be just plain wrong.

Mormons have a reference in the D&C where JS said it is an objective, demonstrable, fixed element of human nature, perhaps without any present hope of change, like an electron, a sort of quantum mechanical component of the cosmos and a distinct definer of human nature. What the hell.

We use it to rub peoples noses in ****, or perfume ourselves in smugness.

If you go to a play, actors you well know are supposed to say scripted lines at the proper times, and do stuff to make the show.

Some of the people in here are fully committed ideologues who have drunk deep from the well of their chosen agenda. Without doubt, some receive talking points du jour and faithfully work them into the threads.

None of this makes them stupid, just inaccessible to other evidence, unable to acknowledge the facts others may have.

Mark Levin has a great book on American Marxism, dealing with the origins, development, and current practices of progressives, many of whom sincerely believe the world is at stake and will be destroyed by climate, pollution, or population growth, and who believe simple facts that don't accentuate that narrative are dangerous and even criminal to the victory of their cause.

Karl Marx was a humbug. His character was deplorable. His own family suffered intolerable abuse and neglect. But some mostly European elitists needed a tool to divide the world and make it more manipulatable. A leader of this was Lord Cecil Rhodes, a devout racist who clearly feared the darkies having numbers and gaining power. Rhodes was influential in Europe. He exerted influence on universities. He had a crowd of supporters in "the City of London", the square mile that is in a large sense independent of the British Crown. And probably has more power over the Crown and the Brit government than God.

The progressive developments that have followed include a number of agents who in the 1890s, some earlier, some later..... came to America and somehow gained positions of influence. An educator named Dewey. a British forester who headed our forest service and applied "King's Forrest" principles. Some Americans converted early to sophistry, like the leaders of the Smithsonian.

At any rate, the whole idea is intellectual supremacy of a relatively small set of elites, who intend to run the planet their way. The total annihilation of human rights.

For our own good, of course.

I think people have seen it for what it is now, and this decade will be the turning point. The cause is fully discredited by the lies, the abuse, the corruption, the flagrant assault on human rights.

I have hoped to engage folks in here with civil discussions of the issues. I have to thank Jason for his tolerance. As long as there is tolerance for different views, we are all basically on the same side. Trying to make things better as best we see.

I consider every post to be a promise I will behave according to the rules.
I'm back.

I still hold to the quote above, but I checked in today, and saw that spreading anti-vaxx disinformation is against the rules (something I did not realize was true). I believe I can hold myself to simply reporting these posts without responding to them, so I will make the attempt to return. Sorry for the drama.

Good to have you back but since when has it been against the rules to post misinformation about covid or vaccines? I saw pages and pages of misinformation in the covid thread. I see posters like @Avery defending needles and vaccines. So since when did this become a rule? Is it enforced? How? Because it sure hasn’t stopped posters from posting misinformation.

Jason confirmed it is a rule on August 18 in the Site Information forum, in a response to Harambe.

It's still on us to report posts with misinformation.

Thank you for this information. I would’ve never known. How many posters actually visit that forum? I don’t think I’ve ever visited it. Apparently I should!

Oh poor "victim"... The guy who said it was acceptable that posters called me a KKK Grandmaster got his little panties in a bunch and quit because people are soooo mean. Don't worry it's ok for you to spread misinformation... It's ok for you to be a jerk. But you know calling someone a KKK Grandmaster isn't hateful and a lie at all, is it?

Two faced hypocrite.

No, it isn't. If you think I am, you should report me.

It's ok for you to be a jerk.
Not at all.

It would be, if it were intended as a statement someone would believe and were not hyperbole. I don't remember the incident at all. Do you remember where I said it was OK?

As I pointed out in the original post, I have a button that antivaxxer nonsense pushes, and I left because I wasn't sure I could continue to post authentically. Meanness has nothing to do with it.

However, if you want to misrepresent what I said there, I won't argue about it anymore. Have fun with it.

The anti-vax nonsense was literally killing people before coronavirus hit. Now? Holy hell.
