Grade the Trade

You can look at it on NBA.com

Burks does do better than anyone else when he holds the ball for over 6 seconds, but he holds the ball then shoots more than anyone else (or at least, at a higher rate of his own shots).

Y point is that's his game. It doesn't stop the offense like hood or Burke.

That's why Orlando does it. We do it because we are smarter than them and we take the risk and watch it pay off.

Look at OKC giving away Harden for the same dumb reason.

Plain and simple you just have to smarter, luckier, and bolder than the rest to get ahead. Can't be scared and conservative.

Yeah, they gave up the wrong guy -- Harden is a better fit with Durant than Westbrook.

But he put the words in bold and caps and stuff... he must know what he is doing.

Fournier is okay. I like Burks better. Looking at the current salary environment I'd much rather have Burks at his number than whatever Evan will get next year. Lamb got $7M, Ross got $11M, so I think Evan gets like $25M... I'm only kind of kidding.

The AB disrespect is terrible. Also, Burke isn't a throw in for us right now... he is playing good. This trade doesn't work and it sucks.

This. Lock the thread. turrible

I really don't think it's that big of deal (the 25% thing) if he would increase his catch and shoot %, but his C&S% is extremely low, at 12 percent of his total shots.

I think one of the reasons his C&S% is so low is because he doesn't have confidence in his shot right now. I keep saying that he just needs to add some follow through to put some arc on his shots and soften how it gets to the rim -- you reading this, Alec. Over concentrate / focus on your follow-through in practice and it will become natural during the games.

No way id do that trade. F- for the trade value. Fourbnier I watched in Denver , He is soft as tissue and he is putting up numbers for an awful team. One of the worse teams in the league.

So Lillard can score on most point guards but Exum would of shut him down? lmao .. Some real smart ball people around here. Give redit where credit is du and the fact is Lillard is a top 5 point guard in a league with the best point play EVER(overall). ALso I told yall bozos to select Leonard, Meyers and I was laughed at. Bet yall wish you had him now instead of Favors who has been in the league forqwhat 7 year and we still here he isn't a finished product.lmao. He is what he is just accept it. He a good defender with limited offernsive game. That's not going change

Bruh.

Don't you want to get out of the red someday?

I know Jazzfanz is mean to you, but what did I do to you? No need to hate on my trade for no reason

I like Leonard, but you can't possibly think he is better than Favors.

Also, you watched Fournier in Denver? You know people grow and get from their rookie year right?

Be a man of your word. I know that's hard for you to do, but please do it this time. You said you were going to put me on ignore. Please don't respond to my threads. Your opinion is not wanted.

Did anybody say shut him down? Exum caused serious trouble as a rookie to some seriously good PG's. The argument is that the Jazz missed Exum because Lilliard would have had a much harder time getting those looks against a faster, more athletic and much bigger PG in Exum, because he's also a far superior defender to Neto or Burke.
.
Favors is averaging almost 20 PPG this year when he is not forced to leave the game sick. I'll take what Favors is his offensive game is no longer all that limited.

Lillard is beyond superior to Exum, He would of treated him like the youngster he is. SMH

Exum was one of the best defensive PG's in the league at the end of last year. I didn't say he was better than Lilliard overall. I said he would have made it more difficult on Lilliard and he would have had a harder time with those plays. Exum gave Tony Parker (a Better PG than Lilliard) fits, He shut down Ty Lawson and he gave numerous other PG's real problems last year. He would have given Lilliard far more resistance than Neto and Burke did.

This Jazz team is missing and will continue to miss Exum against high level PG's. Against Denver, Indiana and Philadelphia they don't miss him so much, but against Lilliard, Parker, Westbrooke and other high lvl PG's they will and have.

No chance the trade gets down now after tonight.

Ya,it probably wasn't a possibility anyways. I'm sure they know what they got.

But I also doubt the Jazz even think of stuff like this. They try too hard to be safe and conservative. I don't like it it. I think it's a recipe for being average. I think that they need to be more ballsy.

If Hack is going to infest this forum with these farfetched trade ideas, might as well bump this knee-jerk reaction thread.

Fournier averaged 17.8 ppg in November, 11.6ppg in December, 12.2ppg in January, and now after dropping a season high 28 points he's up to 15.5ppg so far in February.
