We have an apology thread for those who called Allen a bust, you moron. All because Allen has looked good against two G League teams trying to tank/injury riddled. If we had kept things in perspective, we wouldn’t have an apology thread.
Yes. Allen has looked good in two games. But even Mo Almond and Kirk Snyder had a few nice games against arguably better competition.
What are you so pissed-off about? You apparently think it’s a reach or unfair to say that Allen isn’t conclusively a bust. Which is basically all anyone here is saying, including you.

You're the same dude who said he was a bust after his first Dleague game after his injury lol. One game. Remember? Me saying "hey let's give it an off-season" and you saying how it was already a forgone conclusion?
Most of us know he hasn't done a thing but most of us are willing to give him at least an off-season before making ridiculous projections for a rookie. As I told you, it's a terrible discussion.

If you think I called him a bust because of a D league game then you’re lost.
Give him an off-season? He was one of the oldest rookies from the draft! Four years at Duke.
Maybe we should’ve drafted someone with a higher ceiling and younger age if we have to wait a few seasons to “be ready.”

Because he is a bust. He has contributed zero this season. Until he changes that, he’s been a bust.

Yes. So that combined with his overall performance in the actual NBA is why he’s a bust. Never did I say that my judgement was solely based on one G League game, No matter what you tell yourself. Never did I say in that post you quoted me did I suggest he was a bust off of the g League. You seem to have an opinion of me and will use whatever posts taken out of context in (failed) attempts to prove whatever you think of me.
It’s not working.

First, the post you quoted me in didn’t call him a bust. Read it.
Secondly, read up on all my posts about Allen. Never have I said that he’s a bust based solely on what he did in the G League. It’s always been his failed campaign to contribute anything to our team this year despite being a four year player from duke. If he couldn’t contribute immediately, who could?
Thirdly, Why draft an old player who still needs time to contribute? Why not draft a younger player with a higher ceiling or stash a foreigner?
Lastly, “whatever I say?” Ummmm it absolutely matters what I say. Obviously, you’re claiming that I based my opinion of Allen as a bust based on one G League game. You obviously misinterpreted what i said. I’ve done that. Just because that doesn’t fit your narrative doesn’t mean you should act all butt hurt about it, as if I’m flip flopping. My position on him has been consistent.
Take your L and move on.
