A week ago at this time we were 1-2 with the Spurs coming up twice on the schedule followed by a five game road trip, and there was a fear that we would have a pretty big hole to climb out of when Hayward eventually returned.

Now we're 2 games above .500 and Hayward's back. Things are good.

He is basically doing the same thing Oden did IIRC. He sat out an entire year (2 for Embiid) then played most of 1 season with minute restrictions.
