And all that is fair. In fact I'm not saying agree with jamezz. I'm not sure if I would rather make or miss the playoffs as 35-40 win team. Too many variables.I think I'm having a hard time reconciling these two statements then: "Making the playoffs doesn't level up the Jazz". "Playoff experience is really valuable to the Jazz".
My whole point here is that if the Jazz are going to go into the playoffs as a losing team (which is probably going to happen), 4 *** kickings by the Warriors isn't going to gain much, if anything. I'd rather just skip that and draft 5 spots higher. I disagreed with the notion that the "playoff experience" in that scenario was very valuable at all. That's what the "level up" metaphor refers to.
LolLet's pretend that this thread had a lucky girl... She probably would have looked like this:

(I can't seem to figure out how to load a large image any more. Pooh fingers!)
He's mostly replacing Withey and Pleiss. You think the Jazz are worse with Gobert than with Withey or Pleiss?I'll say it aloud - our offense has been inept since Gobert return and he is not that much better than Withey on defense to compensate for that.
