Jefferson to the Rockets (who may very well have interest that's been discussed here) for a future 1st. I doubt we could pry one away from them this year but we could get their 1st next year or the Grizzlies 1st rounder which is lottery protected in '13 to which they have the rights.

I know, I know, we don't get a player back. That's okay. By doing this, we open up time for Favors and Kanter (huge), save the Millers 15M (which could then be spent on Batum--huge), and get a 1st rounder next year which could very well be one of three we have in 2013. Win, win, win. Essentially, it's like trading Jefferson for Batum and a 1st rounder. Well, if Batum signed here. And I think we'd all do that.

I'm all ears for any cap-saving trade. I don't need a player back. I'd take a future first and a second-rounder for this year. Signing Batum would be great, but we'll have to overpay slightly to get him away from Porty... (and, really, I don't see them letting him go).

There's still Brandon Rush, Courtney Lee, George Hill, etc. (all shooters) that can be acquired.

There was an entire league of players that could be brought in to see if any are ballers (The DLeague). Some possibles: Point guard Dee Bost, 2 guard Kevin Murphy, forward Derrick Character, PF Post Dallas Lauderdale (followed Boom Bitches at Ohio State), Brian Butch, Jeffers, Justin Holiday to name some.
