TBF I'm pretty sure there was a good chunk of people who thought Tim Thomas was gonna be better than KVH, that wasnt the case either.



That was just a draft full of duds tho... PPL even thought Chauncey Billups was a big dud at first...

I remember thinking Herro wasn't going to be good in the NBA. I didn't think he'd be able to defend and that he wasn't athletic enough.

Like many, I thought Burke would be our awesome PG. Whoops.

I thought Derrick Williams would be good. Instead he busted out of the league.
I thought Archie Goodwin could have been good, but he never learned to shoot.
I thought Mario Hezonja had at least as much natural talent as Gordon Hayward, but he can't dribble or pass, so he mostly just stands there.

And I thought Sergei Karasev would be a NBA player. Shudders.

I think the biggest one that most of us thought was that Wiggins was going to be a lot better than he is. That draft was one of the most hyped drafts I can remember.

For me, I always thought Dante Exum was going to end up being like Penny Hardaway. With that combo of him and Rudy, just like Penny and Shaq. I held up hope until they traded his @** lol

I remember the Kanter, Burks draft well. I really wanted Klay, I just had no idea he’d be as good as he’s been. In that same draft I did miss on Leonard. I dismissed him thinking he wasn’t enough of a wing or big, boy was I wrong.
