What's new

Happy Birthday!

I'm glad I came back around and started contributing again. I think most of the folks here on the board are good people.

Jason can you tell me how long I've been on the board?

This electronic post has been constructed, arranged and transmitted via an Apple branded communication device using the Tapatalk application.
it has been easily a decade (at least), Vinylone-Jon.
I have been around since 2003 or 2004, and I think you were a frequent contributor back then, even prior to that.

Unfortunately no. Unless you've only been here since the crash then your join date is listed in your profile.
Even had we not crashed, our time at RealGM and Rivals.com (remember that anyone?) would have prevented your account from showing a true join date.

This site was on Rivals? That I don't remember, and think was before my time here.

I was here in the RealGm days. My signup day for that site was October 20, 2001. So I've been around that long. Though me and Colton were usenet (alt.sports.basketball.nba.utahjazz, or something close to that) guys back in the late 90s...those were the days.

Yeah, I don't remember any connection with Rivals either. I went from usenet to RealGM to jazzfanz. I joined jazzfanz within a few weeks of its formation, I think, but I didn't join on Day 1 because I wanted to see whether my favorite posters on RealGM stayed or left. Most left for jazzfanz, so I did as well.

What does this have to do with the Jazz?
Mods, please move to General Discussion.

JK...thanks Jason, for providing us a place where we can vent our frustrations regarding the Jazz and fellow posters. Without Jazzfanz I fear many of us would have taken our craziness to the streets and now be in jail on mischief and mayhem charges.

Can't remember when I joined. I think it was a little after Deron was drafted. I know I was definitely not on the old board during the legendary days of LTV and the crazy Arroyo supporters. I just heard stories.

I first found the site while looking for info before the 2004 NBA draft. I was hoping we'd pick Al Jefferson and Kris Humphries with the #14 and #16 picks respectively.

Thanks for giving us a forum to give advice to Jazz management and coaches on what they should do with OUR FRANCHISE. I would have no where else to vent if it wasn't for Jazzfanz.com
