What's new

Hayward is taller than Millsap

According to the current stats on nba.com, Millsap and Hayward are the same height, 6-8.

Evans F 6-9 194
Millsap F 6-8, 253 lb <<<<
Hayward F 6-8 210 lb <<<<
Howard F 6-7 210
Miles GF 6-6 222
Burks G 6-6 202
Bell G 6-5 210

Some internet site lists also,
Bird F 6-9 220

but he looked a lot heavier than that to me, at least later in his career.

I don't know how accurate any of these stats are.

There's something to be said for body type. Milsap has a very stocky body, which lends itself to more paint work, whereas Hayward has a lean body type which makes him a wing player. Also there is the type of game a player plays. Haywards 'game' is more of a wing game so he is more of a 2 even though he has the height to play the 3. Millsap's game is more banging down low, so he is a 4, -however- he has been changing his game enough that he can fill in at the 3, which is a good thing considering the fact that our only experienced 3 has been signed for 2ish days and has had knee surgery, and is a washed up vet. (no offense Howard, prove me wrong)

I don't see how they can find minutes for all the wing players on the roster now... especially since I think Hayward, Favors, and maybe Burks should all be getting big minutes..

Well hopefully Bell will be in a suit and tie every game and not get to even sniff the court. Burks spends a few minutes and the 1 and Hayward can go between the 3 and 2. I think they will be fine.

It was not a challenge. He can't make me, because it is the internet. Therefore it was not a challenge, but rather a rhetorical deflection of a challenge. He challenged me, but it was a stupid challenge. I don't have to do what he tells me to do. I made no argument, nor no challenge. I was just opening up a topic for discussion.

Dude, you're pulling an aint in this thread. Just make your point rather than trying to lead a Socratic discussion into the vortex. And if you say make me I'll beat you up after school.
