What's new

Hayward is taller than Millsap

"Make me" sounds like a challenge to me. However I digress.

I think Millsap will see some time at SF. There are some matchups that he could handle. For example Artest of the Lakers. I just do not think he is fast enough to handle alot of SFs.

Wait, I thought we were talking height here. Don't you mean he's too tall to play SF?

Okay, okay, I'll stop .. this thread is just too easy .. but I'll try to behave.

lol, I never said anything about height as you yourself have pointed out. I do not think Millsap is the answer at SF but there are matchups that having him at SF would work.

Bird was a SF, he wasn't fast, somehow it worked.

Hate to break this to you but Millsap is not Bird. As for lightening up we are having fun. Sarcastic maybe but I sense no anger in this thread.

According to the current stats on nba.com, Millsap and Hayward are the same height, 6-8.

Evans F 6-9 194
Millsap F 6-8, 253 lb <<<<
Hayward F 6-8 210 lb <<<<
Howard F 6-7 210
Miles GF 6-6 222
Burks G 6-6 202
Bell G 6-5 210

Some internet site lists also,
Bird F 6-9 220

but he looked a lot heavier than that to me, at least later in his career.

I don't know how accurate any of these stats are.
