Hayward is one of 19 players named to the national team roster summer tryouts. IT will be trimmed to 12 and that is the final roster.

Only 4 hold overs from the last team - Love, Durant, Harden and Davis.

Along with those 4 and Hayward also named were Lillard, Korver, DeRozan, Parsons, Curry, Klay Thompson, Irving, Griffin, George, Cousins, Faried, Drummond, Rose and Bradley Beal.
This is for the World Cup in Spain.

Harden
Davis
Griffin
Love
Curry
Lillard
Irving
George
Cousins
Beal

The team will be stacked anyways. I'd probably rather have Burks, just for more highlight potential.

Seems like there are to many guards. Durant, Parsons, George, Kyle Korver and Hayward are the only ones that can play SF. Count in that he can play SG and K's encouraging comments about him, I think he has a good chance.

So what are you saying? Of the 12 to be chosen, only 5 are able to play SF?



LOL ... good luck getting time on a team with Durant, George and Korver (specialist). I doubt Hayward will get in.

Well that depends on the number of wings coach K wants and the exact needs. Hayward is not in direct competition with Rose, Drummond and Faried.

I see Hayward's direct competition as Derozan, Thompson, Beal and Parsons.
