Ya i dont consider george a "superstar". All star caliber for sure, but i dont think he is top five in the league..... maybe not even top ten
 
Poll is somewhat confusing...the first option says Gordon will get "MUCH" better. How much is "much"? I think Hayward will improve, but not "much"...never to an all-star level. His shooting will improve, I don't think it can get any worse. Maybe he gets smarter with the ball and turns it over less, and maybe he'll learn how to finish better at the rim, but he'll never be a 20 ppg/all-star level player in this league and he'll never be a leader.
 
I said before this year that betting Hayward would become anything more than he's already been would be a losing bet. And we all know how that turned out.

I would say that banking on a player that seems to have run into a brick wall in his fourth year is even more of a losing bet. But sure, he technically can improve (like anyone technically can).
 
He would be considered a veteran in many of nowadays' JazzFanz opinions, but I do believe that the prime era of a talented basketball player -especially a point forward- is the maturing phase between 24-28. I believe Hayward has still a lot of way to go to his ceiling if he does not get spoiled by anything and keep up the hard-work all the time. And a player of his style will always need a pass-first in his team.
 
I think the biggest thing Hayward can improve on is consistency, like others have said even before this year we kinda knew what he was and what he could do. This year he has improved his rebounding a good amount and some on his assists but we knew he could do that, so who knows he could surprise me and significantly improve on something else but I think at this point it is just doing what he knows he can do at a consistent rate. If he does that his numbers will improve just by minimizing so many of those low games, which would be a very solid 2nd option on any team not just shooting but overall with the many things he helps with, so maybe 3rd scoring option but overall teams second option.
