What's new

Hayward

I like the reputation we have, personally. No reason to try and change something wonderful.
I think we could refine it and keep the good parts (the intensity, some of the heckling and noise) while eliminating the bad parts. That would include booing every former player that did anything wrong when leaving, or any of the over-the-top heckling. But like I said there are too many fans who value that kind of stuff for whatever reason so it's not something that's going to change.

Just think, if that POS would have requested a S&T where we send him and a second rounder to Boston in exchange for a second rounder, we’d be sitting on a $30M trade exception this summer and all this cap room crap would be a non-issue.
That's not on Hayward. No way is Hayward going to refuse to sign because Boston won't give us a trade exception. It's a gentleman's move between GM's. Ainge is no gentleman. He always wants to win every deal and screw over as many teams as he can. That's who he is; he's an *******. But a very shrewd *******. He's going to have one of the top-2 teams in the East for years to come.

He could have demanded it because it would pay him more, or so he could get a larger % increase each year. Of course, he’s passive so he didn’t want to rock the boat. But yes, Ainge is a douche. He wouldn’t even throw his son a political bone that would cost him nothing but good will.

This is legit ****ed. If you wanna know anything about the nature of the guy, know he contacted essentially no one from the Jazz organization and that he wouldn't even get the team a TPE. Dude is a a ****ing turd. Hope his brain rotted even further playing video games for a year.

His wife is a real ****ing piece of work too. Parading around those letters from kids begging him to stay with the Jazz, that stupid IG picture of the baby in a onesie (sorry, that was either calculated or they are the densest couple on the planet).

They both have some deep issues with inadequacy, and they've earned them.

Forgive me if this has been posted earlier in the thread (I’m too lazy to look through it), but I already have serious questions about Hayward’s future in Boston.

His absence has allowed Tatum and Brown to thrive and quite frankly, at this point I’d probably rather give minutes to those 2 at the wing positions. Plus, we know Ainge has ZERO conscience when it comes to the cutthroat world of making deals in the NBA.

Hayward might be turning into a really nice trade chip for Boston. It certainly seems like Tatum and Brown have a higher ceiling than G-Time while being considerably younger, not to mention much cheaper for the next few seasons.

2 things give me a serious revenge boner right now: 1- He shafted us for a team that probably doesn’t even need him, and 2- His absence this season has probably accelerated the growth of not only Tatum and Brown, but our beloved Donovan Mitchell as well. I find it hilarious that if Gordon was to never play another minute in the NBA, his legacy would be making teams/players better by simply not being around.
