Herro Rumors

Lol… y’all saying we got too many picks is like saying someone got too much money… they will figure something out. Y’all are like my kids… get $20 in your pocket and gotta go to target.

BTW OKC had Jalen Williams higher than Dieng on their draft board. They acquired that pick and used it on Dieng instead of Williams because of the trade fell through for some reason they’d still get their guy. So we can lol them for using three of their protected picks to get the #11 or 12 or whatever it was but Williams factored into that thinking and he’s been pretty good I’d say.

Yes, they will use them. OKC using 3 to get DIeng was still using them, but holding on to them waiting for the perfect moment can backfire.

Well we can wait more than 5 minutes for a good moment. We are really far away from the point where we can’t responsibly utilize all of the picks… we have at least 2-3 years before starting to worry about that.

From the 5 on the Floor Heat podcast… Jazz are willing to do THT and Sexton plus a first for Herro. The guy mentioned he’d talked with informed Utah contacts… earlier in the pod in a different convo he mentioned he talked with Tony Jones… I’d venture a really good guess that is where he heard it. Said they didn’t want to include KO.

Yeah, from what Heat fans say the 5 on The Floor guy is usually full of **** and he has been debunked in the past.

But it kind of makes sense to me, though what doesnt really make sense is the Jazz holding strong on keep KO. Like if a team wanted KO instead of THT/Sexton, would they really make that the breaking point? Obviously KO is more important to the team next year than Sexton or THT (especially considering we are getting Herro) but does he still have 3 good years left?

It’s cuz KO > THT and he’s DA’s guy. I bet he sticks around on a smaller deal after this season.

The informed Utah contact has to be The Monty Show?
Nah they dropped Tony’s name earlier in the pod on something else… I’m pretty sure that is who gave them the info. Monty is not a source for other media types… he is the mouthpiece of the sources directly to us.

If the raps stuff is true… we should try to snake OG away… I still think he’s overrated and going to get a bit overpaid this summer but the prices might be bearable now (they weren’t last offseason).

If we're open to give either of Sexton or THT it is because we don't see them as keepers for the future, and I don't blame them for that. THT is yet to prove he's a positive NBA player, and Sexton that he's worth a starting spot.

For all that can be said bout Dunn, he's an actual defender (which is something we do need, tho who knows If he's even in this year rotation, let alone for the future), and main thing is we drafted Keyonte George betting on getting a PG out of him, cause If he ain't that, then he's a pure scorer undersized SG, and doing that within a rebuild means a reasonable route for playing time for him to play PG if they consider him ready enough to belong and learning that position also on the court, not waiting 2 to 3 years like Poole to Curry, but instead to Curry with 4 rings, 2 mvps, a fmvp at a title aspiration team, he's behind and when playing deterring to all of Clarkson, Sexton, THT (who knows If Dunn too) at a play-in aspiration team.
