Perhaps I'm wildly optimistic, naïve, or stupid, but I still think the Jazz will win over 30 games. Their schedule has to be in the top 5 or so this year in terms of its brutalness. That stuff will even out, and the players will become more comfortable in the system.
At least I hope so.
Yep. The Jazz will mechanically have one of the 3 toughest schedules this season (as one of the worst WC teams).Just a thought, but shouldn't our SOS always be relatively high given that we play more games in the WC and only Minnesota and the Lakers are bad? OKC will likely be a .500 team before too long and the other non-playoff teams (Sacramento, New Orleans and Denver are right around .500). Conversely, the EC only has 6 teams over .500.
I saw a chart the other day that shows the Jazz, by seasons end, will have an even harder SOS.Perhaps I'm wildly optimistic, naïve, or stupid, but I still think the Jazz will win over 30 games. Their schedule has to be in the top 5 or so this year in terms of its brutalness. That stuff will even out, and the players will become more comfortable in the system.

Yesterday the Hollinger Playoff Odds projected a 26-56 record for the Jazz. After the win against the Heat, the new projection is 29-53. It seems weird that it changed that much with one win.
Margin of victory is a large swing on future prediction.
