I just saw this documentary on HBO, it's about tort law and presents an anti-business idea of what tort reform really was. I wanted to encourage people to see it, and am especially interested in seeing the reasoning of those who felt it presented things unfairly (I'm sure such people exist). I'll fully admit my natural inclinaiton is to agree with the premises of the film, so I am probably blind to some of its flaws.

several friends have seen it, and liked it a lot
folks were talking about it at bowling too, all positive reviews

for those of us without HBO, is it available elsewhere?

I thought it was a fantastic myth-buster. And I file motions based upon various tort reform statutes all the time.

"... because I am a lawyer. Say, have you heard about the bimodal distribution in starting salaries for new lawyers?"
