What's new

Houston in talks with Kyrylo Fesenko.

Just having a little fun with the Fes sterotype. No reason to get so excited.

I get the fun thing and the stereotype thing but it gets a little frustrating when the emphasis with some continues to be on the past. It is a stereotype he is working hard to break and its a stereotype that is a little too easily perpetuated. Not angry really or excited, just wanting to focus on the progressive positives versus the old-school negatives.

Questions, for the Fes expert:

Does Fes still smoke?

Does Fes still act like he's 12?

Does Fes really weigh 285 or is that what he told you/media?

Hmm... I already know the answers to those questions. Stereotype still sticks.

To me, it seems like it's more of a problem with Fes's "young and up and coming" agent trying to make a name for himself. I know that they PT for DWill and Millsap have done wonders for people, but he's also worked with guys like Ryan Toolson. In other words, a lot of work, no NBA.
Thanks, Locke.

I get it, but I just have somewhat low expectations with Fes. To be honest, diet and smoking aren't even the biggest worries for me. He's just a big, goofy kid. He's only 23, so maybe he matures and becomes a force, but after watching guys like Luther Wright (much more severe issues) and Greg Ostertag I don't really expect him to suddenly just "get it" and become all that.

If I does, I will be thrilled.

"young and up and coming" agent? or trainer? Agent is neither young or upcoming. Trainer is young and upcoming but DWill moved his trainer here and he has since gone on to train many of the players. Who cares if he coached Ryan Toolson? He also coaches Louis Vito, the snowboarder and Angela Wang the figure skater. He is an excellent trainer, far better than what he gets with the Jazz staff IMHO.

Jeditiger,

You already garnered less than zero respect but go ahead and google - angela wang ice skating and tell me and everyone else what you find.

Ok, so if you are making fun of Locke then funny. If not, then I'm not sure how an agent that has written a billion+ worth of contracts is new and upcoming.

I'm not trying to be funny. You act like you're an insider, but fail to know your stuff. His agent is new and up and coming. Would you like me to inform you of his "big clients" he's had? I can, if you want to feel really stupid with your "billion +" comment.
