How bad/good is Cody Williams?

I agree that his lack of skill is a bigger issue than being skinny. But he has fairly poor physical tools outside of his wingspan, which doesn’t show up on the court very much.

Drafting a dude who averaged 11 ppg, has a super slow motor, and is super skinny just because his brother is good for OKC is the dumbest reason ever.

It's all just sports superstition.

Meanwhile, the best player on the planet has two massive brothers, and neither of them became anything special in basketball.

Bad like historically bad...

Even the likes of Kwame/Bennett/Wiseman has had good games in the NBA scoring 20+pts with multiple double/doubles.

Cody may not ever come close to similar numbers before he's retired from the league completely.

That is an ok game from a deep bench/fringe role player. Considering those were his best efforts overall in each category, that is just terrible. Yikes.

It’s bad when I’m hoping his struggles were mental lol…

He did show some interesting flashes with some nice ball handling and drives, but blew the layups badly. Hopefully he shows us something next year. Give us a random 30 point game. Anything!

The last time we had that the player had bathroom issues that developed along with the mental issues.

This upcoming season will make or break him. Look at how much Brice improved from year one to year two - I'm willing to give Cody that chance to improve before I damn him.
