What's new

how many of you have never ever ever used recreational drugs!

For the record I'm pretty firmly against hallucinogenics.
Psychedelics are incredibly safe and offer a profound experience to many/most. I've only tried mushrooms, and I'd recommend them to most people (i.e. those without serious psychological/physiological conditions that could be exacerbated).

It's true. They have driven even a complete materialist like myself to contemplate the workings of the human brain/mind for thousands of hours.

Be careful though, psychedelics are dangerous.

1. Make sure you know the batch you are getting is safe. Know someone who has done it and can cite the potency.
2. Dont take too much.
3. Drink lots of water.
4. Be safe

I would add.... Be in a environment you are familiar with and with people you are familiar with and trust.

I did lots and lots of acid when I was really young (around 200 hits probably) and quite a bit of shrooms. Then I had some bad trips and each time I would try the drugs again, the same type of bad trip would occur.
So I quit hallucinogens altogether for around 15 years.
Then last year I got some shrooms and took them while camping and got way scared.
I don't think I will ever try them again.

It sounds like you're taking too much. :)

I get that the OD risks and addiction risks are extremely low.

I have tried LSD (acid) about 3 times and Shrooms about 3 times. I've had 2 good experiences, so my opinion is definitely swayed by the 4 bad experiences I had. Unfortunately, during one of my 2 good experiences my friend was having a super bad experience and at 15 had a heart attack. It wasn't legit acid, it was made intentionally to hurt people. 14 people took it that night and 12 went to the emergency room. So, I get that it isn't a good representation, but it was actually one of the times I was having fun. I wasn't one of the ones that went to the ER.

Went through an entire undergraduate degree without a single coffee.

Had my first coffee ever when i was walking past this café, and this girl I had just met (insanely, extremely cute) was working there and yelled at me to spend her break with her. This was the summer between my second and third year of undergrad.

I grab a seat, and she comes back to the table with two full mugs of strong Italian coffee. Damn. No way am I telling her I don't drink coffee.

When she asked: "oh wait 'Dalamon', do you take cream or sugar with your coffee?"

Dalabawse: "Nah, I prefer black coffee."

Tasted like steeped gravel, and I think I had to go pee like 20 times that day.

Smart move. You would have been insane to pass up such a great opportunity to not sleep with her.

I've had this same experience like 3 times. I realized that the problem was I was waiting until it got dark to take them. You end up tripping with nothing to do but sit in a camp chair and stare at the fire.(love to do that but not on shrooms) Every time I have done shrooms when I was "cooped up" it was unpleasant. I need to go for a hike or something to have a good time.

Good idea. (Going hiking)

I'll tell the doc I don't want prescription pain medication and as I'm walking out they hand me one anyway.

To many people don't understand that prescription pain medicine is essentially heroin in pill form

Refined heroin. Morphine is the bomb.

I have heard there is a variety of these special mushrooms that grows in this area somewhere. Not sure how to identify them but I been thinking about maybe going shrooming. (plus there are like 6 or 8 edible varieties here I want to try out).

I have tried every elicit drugs on earth. Only 1 time each to learn how evil this things are. Now i do not touch no drugs, not pharmaceuticals and vaccines that cause the autism, dont eat any refined foods especially like cereal with mind controlling "vitamins" added to.
