looking forward to hearing from MVP how Exum isn't really that fast again
I'm very optimistic about Dante. As others have pointed out, he seems to be able to get to the rim at will. He's too big for the likes of Barea or Yogi Ferrell, and he's too quick for bigger players if you switch. Once he learns how to finish better or starts dunking like last night when Powell hit him and should've been tossed.
One thing I'll point out that no one else seems to have done is that I've noticed that Dante is only r months older than our rookie Grayson. Dante just turned 23! By the time he's in his prime, he may be quite the player.
ya but he's bitterly anti anyone loving ExumWoah! I must have missed that one. I get most of MVPs takes... but c'mon man you don't have to love Exum (unconditionally) to realise how funny and bad that take is
Imagine if exum had knock-down 3 pointer where he could pull up from outside, that would be insane.
Yamers, let me get this right. You're saying if someone is a knock down 3 pt shooter, in addition to being lightning fast with insane length and a great one on one defender ... that's an insane package ?? Am i understanding correctly ?
So far this year in a small sample size he is shooting 41% from the field and 31% from three. Those numbers are very similar to his career numbers (40% and 31%). Those numbers need to improve quite a bit.
At least he is getting to the line a bit more though.
Not really. I just do not get when people claiming he is one of the fastest players in the NBA when numbers and eye test says he is not the league of Westbrook, Schroeder or Wall for example - those guys are tier one when it comes to speed - Exum is a tier below.ya but he's bitterly anti anyone loving Exum

No, he is not. Not even close. He's already in that tier, he just doesn't have the lateral movement of a Westbrook. And just wait until he learns how to breathe.
Maybe. Lets hope so.I think those numbers will improve, he was 48% from the field last year and has a couple of early bad shooting games bringing him down so far this year. As the season goes on, that will even out.
