Who can remember a Fisher that needed to get out of his contract in Utah to get closer to his daughters doctors?

Now that same liar is calling the owners liars because they set up an ultimatum for the players 50-50 or no deal.

Why is this guy the negotiator for the players? Why does everyone look at him as the saint of the NBA?

Actually, he needed to get out of his contract in Utah to live in a city that had doctors specializing in retinoblastoma. But you keep fighting the good fight.

I just had a problem with him signing with the Lakers. He made it sound like he was heading to New York and then signed on the opposite side of the country... it's not like SLC is that far away from LA if that's really where he needed to be...

I also don't understand how we didn't have the right doctors/facilities here in Utah when we're one of the leaders in cancer research and treatment.

I still respect his decision but I just don't like how it all went down. I really don't like him as the lead guy for the players in the CBA talks though... but that's probably just because I'm mad at everyone on both sides right now.

I'm not against him leaving I didn't think that he helped us he seemed too selfish for a pass first offense. But, when you lie to get out of a contract because you can't stand to be a backup. YOu have no moral ground to stand on to call owners a bunch of liars.

And if he had doctors in NY they could have worked with the doctors at the U to treat his daughter and then he could take her to NY when they needed to see her. It wasn't like the MIllers aren't considerate to players that have personal problems.

It blows my mind that people are still hung up about this. Unless your 2-3 yr old daughter has a tumor in her eye, then I don't think you should be able to weigh in on this matter.

I'm not hung up on this he is the players representative and he is publicly talking about how the owners are liars. NOw how does our past situation not seem relevant? I would be like Sammy Sosa complaining that too many players in todays game are on steroids. Or Kobe Bryant telling Tiger Woods that he should be faithful to his wife. You can't see the relevance?

What did he lie about? Pretty sure his daughter did have a tumor in her eye and all I remember him saying was that he wanted to play for a team in a city where his daughter could get the best care. So unless you are an expert on retinoblastoma or you have firsthand knowledge what was recommended to him by physicians I don't really think you can call him a liar. And by the way, the fact that you posted this shows me that you've never lied in your life, because liars can't call out other liars.

.....all I know is that the players will be taking a big loss in salaries when they sign the new CBA. The longer they stay out...the bigger the losses will be. They should cut there losses now and sign.
