My favorite season besides the two finals appearances was the 17-18 season when we were 9 games under .500 and then went on that huge run in the second half of the season and beat the Thunder in the first round of the playoffs. I have a feeling this season may surpass that one. This just feels like a special group and a special season.

I've never loved a Jazz team like I loved that one. It's one big reason I'm glad Favors is back.

Stockton and Malone will always have my heart. I loved those mid-90 teams. This group definitely hasn’t surpassed them in my mind, as those teams played at this high of a level for multiple years straight. The current team has done it for 20 games. That said, I am absolutely enjoying it so far and definitely like this team more than any of the Dwill/AK/Boozer teams.

The team has a very tough schedule coming up in February. Let’s see how they do during this next stretch and then revisit how competitive they really are this year.

This could be the most likeable team ever in Jazz history. Like everyone seems to play for each other, there are no huge egos (or if they are they mask it well), and nobody on the team really comes off like a jerk at all. Very fun team be a fan of.

Add in the redemption part of the story line... the relationships were icy and rather than saying "eff it I'm out" like every player seems to do these days, these guys said "nah we got this". Relationships seem fully functional. As you mentioned, everyone seems to play the right way.

All very exciting stuff... even if it ends with a loss to the Lakers in the playoffs.
