So why doesn't Utah ever get one of these presents from the league office?

Which franchise makes more money for the league, Lakers or Jazz? Which franchise do fans want to see on tv to drive the billions of tv money that pays the players hundreds of millions, Jazz or Spurs, or even Dallas? The answer is pretty clear, no one tunes in the see the jazz and the jazz are in the bottom 25% if earnings per team, we've posted this info before. The league needs the teams that bring in the money to be good enough to still be a draw. That is not the jazz. No benefit to the league for the jazz to get a #1 pick.

After the 2025 draft lottery for the Flagg sweepstake, in a podcast interview Gilbert Arenas already admitted that the Jazz (AJ Dybansta BYU) are getting the number 1 pick for sure in the 2026 draft lottery. Let's see if that turns out true, or not. It'll be interesting.

What's even interesting, is the Jazz helped in that trade with the Luka trade. lol
