Its not that ballsy guys. He took him out to give him a minute rest then the team started pulling ahead so he stuck with it.

Are you even a Jazz fan at this point?

And yes, it happens a lot. Coaches play there stars the whole 4th quarter then they try to find them a minute to sit them for. Usually the team falls apart though and that just didnt happen here.
No idea. That **** was 4 years ago? Were you among those arguing for Corbin not making any substitutions in the Atlanta triple-OT game because it's too risky?
I can understand no subs for the first 2 OT's, but by the time that 3rd one rolls around it seems like it would be wise to put someone new in. I don't think ATL subbed anyone out either though, besides when Smith fouled out.
Kokoskov, also the assistant coach for the Utah Jazz, gave a nod to his boss, coach Quin Snyder.
"He is my dear friend, my boss. He told me, 'Be prepared for the press conference and say something deep and smart.' Well, I can't say anything."
Well, gassed or cramped, most coaches will still play their #1 guy down the stretch, and the idea is "if we lost I'd not be the one to blame" but it's stupid. So Igor made the smart choice.I don't know if it was smart but it was definitely ballsy as hell!

Btw in his interview he talks about possibility of considering a head coach job in Europe. He also said there's much work to be done in Utah and Snyder told him to get the W and return to Utah.
Anthony Randolph plays on the Slovenian national team. What a waste of talent.
He refused the head coaching job for Panathinaikos in Greece to work with Quin 2 years ago. For those who don't know, Panathinaikos is about as storied of a club as there is in European basketball. They have 35 local championship titles and 6 Euroleague titles. I wonder if he feels different now. He probably can have his pick of the litter from the teams without a coach in Europe, but in mid-September it's not the best time for that(championships are starting already in some countries so most teams have coaches).

PAO is a pretty middling team in Euroleague now. Budget not up to par with the elite teams like Madrid, CSKA, and Fener. Think he should be happy with the Jazz. He would also have a Gator as his starting PG so definitely better off in Utah.
