Tell that to Mike Brown and D'Antoni. Yes they have a great history but pressure comes with that history. Right now their roster is average at best. They did win 27 games so that is a bonus. RIght now they have little reason to be optimistic considering their hopes rest on a 35 year Kobe coming off two major and a bunch of scrubs. Oh yea they have Steve Nash....LMAO.

The "kids" aren't nearly as knowledgeable or respected as their father. And Kupchak really hasn't done anything as a GM besides riding the wave of Jackson and Kobe.
AS for New York, sure it's "New York." But it's also Dolan's team. He's a meddling owner who doesn't have an ounce of basketball sense. Well, he did hire Jackson. But then he promptly interceded when Phil wanted to bring in his own guys. There he goes, meddling again. It will end ugly in Knicks land. I guarantee it!
