What's new

Is Boise St the best #31 ranked bb team ever?

Boise St and Kentucky have already played a common opponent (Texas-Arlington).

Both won by 29 points. Kentucky and Boise St end in a tie... that's my prediction.

(Kentucky plays Boise two games after the Utes play them)

Cal Jr. knows what he's doin, scheduling a tough opponent right after they will be coming off their biggest test of the season.

Btw.. I suspect this may qualify as a quality OOC opponent. Win or lose it will boost the Utes RPI.

I actually am kinda pullin for the Utes. Dat Majerus..

This game coming up is two paper tigers. Big game for Utah and BS. Both have PATHETIC SOS so far, Utah is dead last and Boise is right behind them. Because this is Utah's first real road game, I have them losing, but this game will speak volumes about where both programs are. If one blows out the other, ouch.

Ya, would be huge for us to get the win.

I'm srs about all I've said about the Utes this year. This year will be our resurgence year with a possible shot at the tourney, next year will be our declaration to the college bball world that the Utes are back and we will make it to the tourney and win at least one game.

I agree it's hard to make much of the Utes record since it's been all cupcakes, but just watching the team you can tell its head and shoulders above any Utes team of the last several years.

/will take an XXL glass of red kool aid pls

Like I've said a few times.. I'd enjoy that..... then there would be more people legit interested in talking cbb rather than pro tanking.

Delon Wright:

30 mins a game (30 mins)
75% fg (60%)
40% from three (60% - holy freaking moly)
6 rebs (9 rebs)
5 assists (2)
1.5 blocks (1.7)
4 steals (1.3)
15 points a night (24)

I am sooooo interested to see how he plays against Boise. He has been straight up BALLING so far this year. Compare his number's to Jabari's (in parenthesis).

Again, I don't think Wright is anywhere near the level of Parker, but my point is, he is playing LIGHTS OUT. Pumped to see him play a tougher team.

Same with BS. Look at their schedule:

Lewis-Clark State
UT Arlington
Simpson
Seattle
New Orleans
Idaho

Almost as pathetic as the schedule Utah has played so far. Who knows how good/bad either team is. They are both blowing out bad teams, take that for what you will.

Also, I think Utah is a deeper team than BS. Utah should try to attack their bigs offensively and get them in foul trouble. That could end the night real quick for BS. BUT, if BS gets hot from outside...
