That Knicks game showed some real lack of effort on defense by Mitchell, Gobert dropping balls and lacking effort, Bogie missing shots left and right, Niang in the purest of sickness, and Quin making no adjustments to high pressing wings.
Clearly adjustments were made on a lot of levels and we havent looked back. Thats the sign of good coaching imho. As a coach myself, at times I recognize failure points AFTER games and not during. Good coaching is learning from losses and correctly assessing issues so they don't happen again.
Quin has done that.
