Some good came from 9/11 (country more united than I ever saw it, patriotism at an all time high) but that doesn't mean I'm happy with how that was achieved (Planes hitting our buildings and killing lots of people).

Same here. I can be happy with the corruption being exposed and the dnc hopefully being forced to change and be better going forward, and still be concerned about how the exposure happened.

My stance is still that I'm against other countries influencing, interfering with, or having any involvement in American elections.
I doubt anything you can say or any links you can post will change my feelings on this.

yes there is 0 evidence of an actual hack! meaning the mails could have come from a leak, or a hack. but nonetheless the russian hacked everyhting.

The CIA and the FBI have both agreed that there was hacking and have proof of it. You are also just talking about the Email hacking. You are forgetting that the FBI caught Russian Hackers in the midst of hacking voter registration in at least 3 states.


Both agencies and their leaders Comey and Clapper agree that the goal of Russia was to try and help get Trump elected. These are not liberal reports. These are the reports directly from the CIA and the FBI.

There is lot of emphasis in here on the small leaks. That is a small part of the hacking. Hacking voter registration is kind of a big deal. Also being ignored is the fact that the FBI has reported that they have good reason to believe the email information being released was tampered with.

I have just heard a few people saying that Russia uncovering corruption and issues with the dnc is a good thing. Like we should be thankful.

So if that's the case then why not have countries continue to help us uncover corruption going forward?

I consistently described her as a pretty standard politician. I said she was competent. I said she'd be pretty predictable and essentially more of the same, which I was perfectly okay with compared to the ****ing clown show Trump is continuing to be.

Let me describe "standard politician" for you. Someone who is essentially dishonest, self-interested, tells people what they want to hear, makes empty promises, knows how to play the game, knows how to work with other standard politicians for their mutual benefit and not necessarily the benefit of the people.

Since politicians are typically the people who hold political offices I'm okay with politicians. It doesn't mean I hold them in high regard.

But Trump isn't a standard politician. He's a demagogue. He's petty and small. Every bit as dishonest as any politician, he's just too unskilled at the political arts to keep us safe.

I'll take a standard politician over Trump any day of the week and Hillary Clinton fit that bill. I absolutely did not build her up as though she was amazing. I simply refused to agree that she was some demon woman. Big difference.

All I can say is that your opinion of what your post said sure doesn't match my recollection of what they said. I remember several posts that were effusive in their praise of Hillary. Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else.
