All-Time NBA Draft--Round One: Jeffrey32 vs. White Chocolate

Australia has said that it is leaving open the option of providing military assistance to the US in Iraq.

Increased calls for a harder American response and placing blame. Including Hillary Clinton laying this at the President's feet.
this mess is americas fault actually.
so they need to clean it up.

nto saying the saddam status qou was ideal.
but americas lust for war and revenge is what escelated this mess.
trying to get their first won war since the 2nd world war.

And your answer to that is more war and revenge? Seems extrememly foolish. You obviously disagree but the US paid for that mistake with lives, blood, money and expertise for a decade. Paid in full.

no is to turn over a new leave, a war for peace.
show the wqorld they turned over a new leave. not the "angry omg we are gonna level iraq, although they had nothing to do with 911" America.
but what america truly stood for at its inception.
this is a war that needs to be fought.
the previous war had the wrong motivation, maybe it should have been fought maybe not, but the job in iraq is not finished.
but thats what america does these days. lose war after war after war. pull out before mission is accomplished.

as for the paid in full?
paid to who? the iraqi people?
they paid a price. but not to the iraqi people most of em are worse off

The Middle East (generally speaking) will never view armed forces from America favorably. It is foolish to think that any armed intervention will suddenly win America goodwill.

No boots on the ground.

As for a war that needs to be fought. I agree. But not by American soldiers on the ground. There are already 4 armies that are doing that. America is providing the air support, equipment and humanitarian aid. That is enough

when it comes to genocide. the more armies the better. since it is partly the fault of usa, they need ot help clean it up
but as usual the un and nato are nowhere to be found, wasnt united nations partly founded to stop holocaust(s) from re-occuring. good thing they call this "genocide" so they are not obliged to stop it.

It is startign to be reported that ISIS is starting to establish a presence in the Gaza strip. If so that is very bad as they will only make the situation worse. If true I wonder how Hamas will respond to ISIS. Fight them? Join them?

Jamir said after ISIS arrived in his town, Arab neighbors of his turned on the minorities and helped ISIS kill. "They join them, and actually they kill us."

"People you know?" CNN asked.

"Yes," he responded. "People -- our neighbors!"

Jamir's family was among tens of thousands who flocked to the mountain and desperately waited for airdrops of food and water.

neighbours turning on eachother.

Wow...gouging out people eyes, cutting a 5 year old boy in half, beheadings, mass executions, kidnappings, forced Sharia Law compliance, religiouscide (that a word?)of all non Sunnis...the Pope and the head of the UN have called upon the world to stop ISIS. They have Iraq, Kurds, other rebel and extremist groups (Nusra Front for example) Syria, Egypt, Israel, America, Russia, the EU...all lined up agaisnt them.

They have certainly exceeded in making enemies of the world. Reports are that they bring in over 1 million a day and it is all in house so that financial sanctions would have little to no affect. ISIS is proclaiming their intention to spread every where (they have dropped the names of London, Paris, Cairo and Washington DC). They are pushing further into Iraq and Syria, pushing towards Turkey thru the Kurds and are starting to gain a foothold in the Gaza strip.

Wonder who will be the first to really step up against them.

this reminds me of the early days of 3rd reich.
sadly it will take drastic measures fort oher countries to get involved

Other countries are already getting involved:

Iran has members of their military in Baghdad.

American airstrikes and aid drops. Supplying weapons and ammo to the Kurds.

Australia, France and Britian are starting weapons and aid shipments to the Kurds.

Syria is fighting them and if they were smart they'd temporarily ally with the other rebel groups in Syria that are fighting ISIS as well.

Israel and Hamas are starting to see ISIS in the Gaza strip and we all know how that will go.

Lebanon, with Hezbollah help, are now starting to fight ISIS along their border with Syria.

But what force, capable and strong enough, is actually going to put boots on the ground and go for ISIS's throat? I don't see anyone wanting to pick that fight.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say USA is Iraqi Air Force but in your opinion is that bad?

it is about obama claiming that usa cannot become in a way the iraqi airforce during this crisis. in other words do all the major jobs of the iraqi ariforce.

then few days later usa becomes exactly that.
obama is the worse president ever. heck i guarantee he will be the worse black president EVER

In and of itself, is us becoming the Iraqi Air Force bad?
