Yeah, we have a different POV and we're not convincing each other. It doesn't matter - we're not actually making the decisions anyway.
You're no fun.

Yes I am. I am tons of fun. I am a rockin good time!!!
Convinced? or are we once again at an impasse?
I don't know if he'll ever be an All-Star with the PG's that are in the league now, which is something I could argue for with Kanter, but we don't need him to be if we've got All-Star quality players in the front court. If our intentions are to move one of the bigs (preferably Sap) then I say go for it and see if he can eventually elapse Al, otherwise get Knight by either drafting him at 3 or trading back to 5 or 6.
But once again, I take DWill 2.0 over either of them any day of the week. I know you're still being brought over to the dark side in that regard, but you can't argue his potential if he's able to play the small forward position in the NBA.
Yes, I have also thought of that and it wouldn't be a bad outcome. Then Cleveland takes Knight at #4. Cavs are sitting pretty. I'm happy for that franchise; they deserved to get a break after going through the "Decision" debacle. But if Williams goes #1, then I think Minnesota would trade their pick. They could drop down a couple of positions, pick up another asset and still come away with a good non-PG. If I were a betting man, I'd say Irving and Willaims still go 1-2, in some order, leaving KOC to choose between Kanter and Knight. Given that Kanter is not a true center and we already have two of those in Jefferson and Favors (and even Okur), I think the choice for Utah will be Knight. Harris has a couple more years left; Watson is a FA and Price...well, he's a better cheerleader than player. So there's a definite need to develop a good, young PG. And #12 should net a decent SF (I'm hoping Singleton). It is entirely possible Kyrie Irving is our choice as well, as many have stated. It is not too hard to see how that happens. It happens if:
1. Cleveland takes Derrick Williams as #1
2. Kahn decides he doesn't need another PG, as Rubio is the future for them there. At least that is what he hopes. So they take Kanter.
3. Jazz have their pick of Irving or Knight.
Irving has to be in the discussion. Don't forget about him. I think he will be there at 3.
Irving will go #1 and I think there's no doubt at all. Just my opinion, but I just don't see it any other way.
1 - Irving
2 - Williams
3 - Kanter / Knight
