Friendly reminder as the President of his fan club that we should’ve drafted Bub.
I liked Carrington ok out of the draft, but I think I prefer Collier to him as a PG prospect. It's very close though.

Well his shot pushed us into the #1 lottery odds spot. If we win the lottery from that spot it means it was thanks to him.it would make more sense to get a bub carrington jersey if the jazz get the 5th pick. that's what carrington's game winner did for the jazz - simply made the worst case scenario better. didn't give the jazz better odds at #1.
also, well done on the podast. you both have pretty decent radio voices.
You think so? I think his rep is tarnished. Vet minimum guy to me.The Beal slander was crazy. He's still a 15 million a year player minimum
50/39 shooting splits with 17 PPG....You think so? I think his rep is tarnished. Vet minimum guy to me.
To be honest I didn’t think his numbers were that good. In that case he can suit up for us maybe we can rehab his value and trade him when his contract is expiring.50/39 shooting splits with 17 PPG....
Beal was extremely good at the start of the year. He had bought in to a defensive play maker role and was somehow thriving in that role and the Suns got off to a great start. I'm really not sure what happened, but you can kind of see it in his stats:
October: 2.8stocks per game +/- of +0.3
November: 1.8 stocks per game +/- of -2.4
December : 1.5 stocks per game +/- of -8.9
(March he only averaged 0.7 stocks per game and was a -9.7)
Beal's problem, as I understand it, isn't that he is a bad player, but just that he is taking usage away from players better than him, while not providing enough other things to justify his extremely large contract that can't be moved because of his no trade clause. In other words he's still good, but his contract is the problem.
(FWIW I haven't listened to the pod yet, so this might not be relevant)
The only way for the Wiz to get the 6th pick is for us to get the 5th pick, so I guess some comedic relief but I'll mostly just be sadI must’ve watched that shot a million times. The probably of him making that shot was probably really low. I felt like we won the lottery. I’ll laugh if the wiz end up getting the 6th pick. lol
So if Wiz win the #1 pick, it was thanks to him -- and it will be the shot that we rue the rest of our living days? (Maybe along with the Hardy timeout to that led to waving off Sexton's shot against the Jazz, and a couple other shots throughout the season that could have given us the #2 spot if they turned out differently)Well his shot pushed us into the #1 lottery odds spot. If we win the lottery from that spot it means it was thanks to him.
Explain to me why we’d get 5 if they get 6?The only way for the Wiz to get the 6th pick is for us to get the 5th pick, so I guess some comedic relief but I'll mostly just be sad
If the Wizards get top 4 then they were won it in the lotteryExplain to me why we’d get 5 if they get 6?
Collier has been nice, not trying to shoot strays. But an extremely young ~6’ 5” PG mid-range master with solid indicators that he will extend his range and excelled in a major conference is a really nice piece to have. Seems like we’ve been having a continuous conversation about adding a big ballhandling guard to allow smaller scoring guards to stay on the floor for forever now. I am a little frustrated we keep leaving players on the shelf that could help answer that, seemingly, perpetual issue.I liked Carrington ok out of the draft, but I think I prefer Collier to him as a PG prospect.
