He is definitely less than he was, but this roster he's on is pretty bad. Grant is good, but its a bunch of hero ball without a system.GRIFFIN so washed

Then why not rest the guys who clearly aren't feeling well? This is an old squad that is slowly falling off. We should save some of these old guys and let our young guys have a shot. Some of you are forgetting they are on a long road trip. Can't be pretty every time.
That's heresy. Quin the mighty doesn't believe in that. Then why not rest the guys who clearly aren't feeling well? This is an old squad that is slowly falling off. We should save some of these old guys and let our young guys have a shot.
Tired of being wrong about Conely so you pivot to your next scapegoat?Bojan will now basically follow this Joe Johnson's pattern of one good game followed by 2-3 bad games and repeat. Next two years with him making 20mil per is gonna be unbearable

GOBERT IS TOAST MY GOD. did he party all night?
Looks like the bitch and moan crew is out in full force. Must be a lot fun going through life as a miserable SOB.
Meanwhile, as frustrating as it is watching some of these games, if you look around the league, it is the same for almost everybody. The biggest reason for this is that due to covid, the league has had to get creative to make up for massive losses at the box office. Right now, every team in the league has at least some hope that their team will be good this year, so that everybody can sell team merchandise, specifically Jerseys. The league does this by controlling game momentum through the officiating. Part of it is inconsistent play for sure, but a huge reason for some of that is that players get frustrated when the officiating isn't on the level, but instead geared towards influencing games in a certain direction.
Teams like the Knicks and Cavs are nowhere close to as good as their record would indicate at this point, and if the officiating was on the level, the good teams would almost always blow out the bad teams. As it is, it's about 50/50 chance for the bad teams to win against legit contenders, and that just doesn't happen with honest officiating.
It is what it is though, and I expect the first half of the season to go like this. I also expect the 2nd half of the season to be a much better indicator of who is who in the league, and Utah will be near the top.
