That's not the sole reason, though. The reason will be sitting out veterans. If you play Lauri and Nurk every game possible, Jazz would be 2-3 spots higher in final standings.

Yeah but can he be a good shooter on low to mid volume. We see when he gets the ball a lot he can get going, but can he get going as a shooter without having the ball.

Nobody's saying this draft sucks. You just need an insane amount of luck to get your hands on a true difference maker EVEN when you tank. I happen to think it's not worth it and it's totally unethical. In that sense, yeah, I don't care about losing the pick.
