Ah, Wolves, of course. But then he's definitely in contention too, yeah.

If they keep playing at that level one of them will be an all-star.

This is nuts. Mitchell plays nothing like a rookie. Its like we just picked up a superstar in free agency for super cheap. It changes the whole outlook of the team over night.

So Joe Johnson is out another 2 weeks. Rodney Hood has been out a few games with a 'sore' ankle.

Anyone think the Jazz are keeping their tank options open?

A week is a long time in sport.

I dont see it though. I think the FO value the culture there more than a top 5 pick.

I also think they are uber confident at evaluating talent and bringing the right guys in so they see little/no advantage in tanking. Especially when you never know the true cost until years later.

Agreed on both points. I'd add that they are super confident in their ability to develop the talent they find.

True, but it's even better. Unlike a usual superstar, he's under contact for about 8 years.

    OKC fan here,

Utah has an amazing young squad. Gobert is a beast.

Looking like a fun season in the league, despite all the injuries.

Yesterday was pretty good. Grizzlies lost, which is fine. Wolves beat Clippers, but that's kinda win-win, as the Clippers aren't out of it if Griffin comes back soonish. Nuggets lost to Pels, which is a wash as well.

    Thunder @ Nets
    Rockets @ Jazz

Now, this would be a good win. Time to get back on the winning track.

this is going to be a really tough game vs the #1 team in the league.

Harden/cp3 has been absurdly good, and then you got eric gordon hitting nearly everything. It's going to be a tough one....
