Bulls with Derozan, Barnes, Huerter, Vuc... really testing the limits of what a fan will watch.
Yeah WK to Memphis, OKC, Sac seems to make a lot of sense.

I disagree. No “experts“ had talked about, posted about, or said anything about the Cleveland trade. Everybody was under the assumption that the jazz and New York were going to make a trade when the Cleveland trade came out of the blue. They also have not forecasted any of their other trades, including Collins. Usually where there’s been smoke, there hasn’t been fire with the jazz.

There were talks of the Jazz interest in Collins WELL before that trade was made.
Yes they have. No mock has any idea what the Jazz are doing outside of they know Utah likes size (newsflash that's the entire NBA).
I think in general the entire NBA is much more tight lipped these days.

How's about this:
Kings get an All Star/best player in the trade. This only happens if the Kings want Zach Lavine and I don't know if they do. They may want draft considerations like the 29th pick or maybe we can sign and trade Kris Dunn in the deal to sweeten it for the Kings. Not sure the mechanics on S&Ts these days.
Bulls clear $25 million from the books and get two players who will help in the immediate future for two who aren't even playing. GM gets his restart for the cost of the 11th pick in a reportedly below average draft.
Jazz absorb Lonzo's Balls with the hopes of him returning to form for a 1st round pick while trying potentially better fits with Lauri.
I like this version much better than picking up Zach but it would require the Kings to want Lavine bad enough. They have reportedly been throwing Huerter and Barnes in all sorts of trade scenarios so I think they are not beloved in Sacland.

You have to talk to teams at some point and you can control them from leaking information

Yes, there were talks of jazz interest in Collins, but there was never any scuttlebutt about what the trade would actually be until after the trade happened. In any case, there was nothing about the Cleveland trade, so I don’t see how you can say the jazz haven’t kept anything close to the vest.
I would think this prevents Utah from extending Lauri so probably a no
