i have never looked at Lavine and said there is a number 1. he is empty calories. by that i mean just as good when he doesnt play. i certainly would never tell Lauri to take a backseat to that guy.

I wouldn't go that far. I don't think any team he has been on recently would be drastically different with Donovan Mitchell instead of him (besides availability). When the Bulls were a very good team with Ball healthy LaVine was cooking.
