Sure. The cap space for what? **** contracts and protected picks?

And there’s a big part of the appeal in not taking him back. Not dealing RJ and giving up extra picks severely hinders the next move they’d be able to make.
Can't front load that amount though... 5/188 is the max.I wouldn’t be opposed to 5/185 if we front loaded it. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal if that’s what he wanted. This might be a silly discussion in 2 years when that contract looks like a steal.
Can’t front load it because it’s a max extension? Can't front load that amount though... 5/188 is the max.
Sure if they’re willing to give us what we want. And there’s a big part of the appeal in not taking him back.
Only 3M difference between 5/185 and max... so max diff is 3M.Can’t front load it because it’s a max extension?
His max is 5/185 I thought. Anyways I’d still give him that.Only 3M difference between 5/185 and max... so max diff is 3M.
There is some appeal there. I do think you have to do things largely just focused on your situation and not try to control too much. They could do like the Heat did with Jimmy and flip RJ for Brown if Boston is going to lose him for nothing. And there’s a big part of the appeal in not taking him back.
I'd get a discount or wait for restricted FA. See Porter Jr., Michael. His max is 5/185 I thought. Anyways I’d still give him that.

It was more they extended him a year early and he had back surgery... price would have been much lower. So unless they are a surefire max guy... get a discount or wait.He got 5/179 granted only 150.5 of that is guaranteed. That seems reasonably for RJ.
