Jazz aren’t and weren’t getting 4 unprotected. If you look through this thread and even most of the chatter throughout this saga, RJ isn’t in most of those deals.

You can also mark me down for believing that Woj’s reporting is tilted since he has a massive conflict of interest here.

Woj reports what his sources tell him, he’s not a prophet. The chatter on here for weeks has been that any deal would probably materialize closer to training camp.

If the deal was RJ and the picks mentioned it would have been better to get it done. Still ways to do it obvi but Rose just followed through on one threat. Trader Danny should consider what’s best for us and leave his ego at the door here before he becomes Almost Ainge.

At a certain point you gotta use some intuition. The Knicks master plan for years has been to amass draft capital to go after a star, ideally a CAA guy, and ideally someone that actually wants to play in that ********.

This is going to drag out even longer now, but ultimately this may be nothing more than PR fodder for the Knicks when they surrender a war chest of picks and young players — “hey, we kept RJ though.”
