If they only two unprotected first I'd rather get the Wizards package if they are including their 3 main young prospectsWould you guys rather have Grimes or an unprotected 1st?
What if the offer was like their 26/28 1sts but we want 23 or 24 added.

I saw it... the debate was whether he'd be spitting at the camera... and SAS always spits at the camera. I rewatched the last minute because the first time i hear disgusted, soft, scared and was laughing and missed the part of the praise. You watch last the first minute?

With the Wizards the real value for me is with their picks. They owe the pick to NY if it falls top 14... so we get swap rights on the 2023 pick if it falls in the protected range (with the Philly or Minny pick). We get the same rights in 24, 25, 26 if the pick continues to fall in protected range and we get the 2028 pick unprotected. I'd add in swaps in 27/29 with the minny pick as well. So if they do tear it down and tank because Don wants out or they have an injury then we benefit. If they only two unprotected first I'd rather get the Wizards package if they are including their 3 main young prospects
I think the compromise could become Knicks give 5 picks... 3 unprotected 2 protected and all of Grimes/Obi/IQ or its 6 picks (3up and 3pp) and we route one of the pp picks to LA in the rumored Lakers deal so that we can get both unprotected picks they own.So you’d rather have those 3 plus 2 unprotected picks over RJ/Grimes plus 5 picks?

I've been staunch that we need three unprotected 1sts as the foundation of the deal and I am not convinced that the Jazz should move off of that. I get the argument that we should take RJ and 2 of those picks instead but I just want every meaningful roll of the dice to land legit stars as possible and remain skeptical on RJ.
That is insanity to me. The Jazz will have no shortage of opportunity to find good role players which I think is how he projects.A few guys here prefer Grimes over an unprotected first which is where the compromise comes in.
