Brunson and Poole are very similar. I'm pretty sure Brunson is a little bigger and has a longer wingspan.

Steph is slightly taller than Don, but Don is bigger and longer wingspan.

I'm just pointing this out as inconsistent thinking by those wanting to bash the Knicks if they put Brunson and Don together. Poole and Curry played a ton together and it worked.

I didn't clarify but I was actually thinking about Don's longer wingspan. I thought it would help him more with his defense early on but noticed that it really helped him out a lot with his finishing. That extra length has really made a difference in finishing around people. I've always liked watching him lay it in past people and seeing the surprise in their eyes when they thought they had him.

Put Don on that team and they are super successful as well. But I don't want to get into that discussion. I'm just talking heights.

I mean you kind of are getting into that discussion when you point to Curry as how a shorter player can still lift his team to amazing heights, because the dramatic gap in talent is the reason why.

Curry tries on defense he actually puts in effort. If Mitchell did at least that which is bare minimum in my opinion we probably beat the Mavericks and he is looked at in a higher standard.

Mitchell gives effort, just not with any consistency, in fact I dare say he’s a better defender when he tries, he’s borderline elite from what I’ve seen when he gives effort. He just doesn’t give a lot of effort.
