What's new

Jazz at Pissers: 5pm MT on NBALP, ROOT, KNS

What was Burks doing? He got a lucky play where a ref gave him a whistle for jumping into Al Jefferson. Quin cant trust Burks out there.

Burks played good tonight.
Highest +/- on the team. Tons of energy. Played good defense. 9 points on 4 shots. Crashed the boards like usual. Zero turnovers. Should have got more burn.

even if the Clippers have some catastrophic meltdown Memphis may still catch us Was always gonna happen.

dude you can dislike all you like, this isn't a knock on our guys at all, just a realistic look at the remaining schedule for the teams involved. The toll of the injuries to team cohesion over the year and the level of experience of our guys compared to the Grizz and Clips ... that's the likely scenario which is fine, we've done good ! I hope we finish as high as possible but i'm not gonna have a meltdown with unrealistic expectations like some numpties here.

Same goes for a playoff series win.

This team has no heart or guts. Simple as that. The idea that they could get out of the first round, regardless of the match-up or HCA situation is at this point preposterous. On the evidence of this thread, we care a lot more than the players do.

Diaw can't shoot. Lyles no bueno. Withey.

Our bigs are poor after gobert.

Bogut or Jones would be nice to have.

This. I said repeatedly in this thread that he kept us in the game.

This loss is on....

Favors. His prolonged absence has forced his teammates to play bigger roles than they are capable. Joe Johnson is tired of playing the 4.

Dennis O'Lindsey--If he would have drafted Otis Porter instead of Lyles the Jazz would have a back-up pf.

Gordon Hayward--Dude only scored 38 points when he should have scored 46.

Rodney Hood and Alec Burks--I think they are Mr. Glass and his sidekick, only trouble is I can't tell which one is which.

not sure bogut would help us much considering he made it a whole 58 seconds of court time before fracturing his tibia.

Good thing the bench shortens in the playoffs, because this bench is worthless right now. Other than Burks nobody bothered to show up.

And thanks Neto for those total momentum killing awful layup attempts. The first one where he got blocked was especially crushing.

Heartbreaking loss after the epic performances from Hayward and Gobert.

Pfff... This team is still young, and gets confused easily. It's not a matter of heart or guts, it's a matter of calm and experience, because we have talent but not so much more than the others that it could compensate for mistakes.

Otto Porter the SF who was taken 3rd in the 2013 draft? Or maybe you mean Bobby Portis? Who is the PF for the Bulls that had hands down the best games of his career against the Jazz so you might be a little high on him but has been averaging less points per game than Lyles and shoots a worse 3 point percentage this year. Lyles and Portis are the same age and Portis has done very little better than Lyles so far. You should probably wish we had drafted Booker and kept our PF Booker or picked up another back up PF.

So Teague won the battle against Hill?

In this game it was pretty even. Teague did take advantage of the double team on George and had some wide open shots as well as taking advantage of Neto's defense and when Withey was protecting the rim. Hill shot poorly from 3 other than that he outplayed Teague in every other way. Across the season Hill is a much better 3 point shooter than Teague.
