What's new

Jazz atleast taking/making calls!

Maybe I'm wrong. I haven't followed the Bucks this season. For some reason I'm under the impression that Salmons' contract isn't a good value and he's having a terrible year. For some reason it seemed like it would be simpler to type this than to actually look up his stats. My heart's in the right place.

(on the inside of my body.)

Lucky!

And yes, Salmons is having a lackluster year (11.8 PER, -3.2 on/off net adjusted +/-) and after THIS year is owed $24 million over three more years.

****ING YIKES. NM.

I still don't understand the Jackson/Wallace love. Wallace, statistically, is Okur, who everyone hates now, and is owed the same amount of money as Okur but longer and has an injury history. Jackson is shooting like CJ Miles this year, who everyone now hates, and is owed twice as much money as Miles.

I don't get it. Financially, it's horrible, and only a slight upgrade on the court.

It wouldn't surprise me either way if they made a big splash, a small dribble, or nothing at all. But my money is on nothing at all, unfortunately.

The really tough thing right now, is there isn't much out there to get. Most of the trades proposed that make sense don't really make us that much better. The trades that make us obviously better just don't make sense. With a looming lockout an expiring contract just does not have the same value (also taking into account the upcoming free agent and draft classes are mediocre at best). I am thinking we are who we are and that won't change much anytime soon.

I think the thing thats important for the Jazz is to get some role players back. Even if it doesn't make them better this year. I think that we need to get some decent role players back for next year. Because were going to lose Ak anyways. So, why not cash him in for something. It would just stink to pay him a hundred millionish as a jazz man and then have him leave for nothing!! Cash him in Mr. O Connor, Please!!!!
