Deseret News is reporting its due to a 'rift with the staff' which could mean any number of things. Not sure that's the phrasing that would be used if it were a sexual harassment type thing though.

Hopefully that is it... better for everyone involved if so.

Not sure what the mascot job market is like but he shouldn't be unemployed long.

I was thinking the same thing -- he inappropriately touched some young lady's fanny but probably didn't even realize it, like Garrison Keillor when he rubbed some woman's back to comfort her when she was in distress.
