Dumb comparison. Hayward has only had a rookie salary. No NBA player has taken less money for their first FA paycheck to build a championship. Yes after this one if the team is close and he really wants to win he might sign for less than, but not know. We were the 4th worst team in the NBA we are not winning a championship in the next couple years. Miami big three took a minor paycut to play together, but they have been in the league awhile and knew they could win together. Plus all three have big endorsement deals and money from their contracts is a small part of what they make in a year.

If you expect someone like hayward to sign for less you are going to be disappointed every time. 0 players in the league would sign for less in Haywards spot right now.
