What's new

Jazz @ Grizzlies 6:00pm (MST) on ESPN

Ya. 10 games in its pretty clear why he’s an underachieving journeyman.

Will Quin have the guts to trim his minutes if he remains so ineffectual?
If there's anyone that's likelier to play a better game. Right now, the pickings are slim.

I know it's still fairly early and I'm sure it will start clicking eventually, but I really expected our offense to be a LOT better by now. Luckily the defense is still great.

I know they technically got the call right but the way they went and took Green's three off the board was a bit bizarre to me. Like I didn't see any refs signaling for a review. They didn't stop and look over at it during a break after a foul to go check it, the check happened between quarters. And as far as I understand it wasn't a coaches challenge. And why can refs review that and not the foul on Donovan.

Yikes. We traded for the wrong Grizz PG. could you imagine if we had someone like Morant with Mitchell? I guess that’s what Exum was supposed to be.

anyway, once again we get nothing from our backup 5 and our 4 position is just bad. It’s what’s holding this team back and will ultimately doom it. We have Rudy and nothing else down low. Green underachieves and Bradley just isn’t an NBA player.

Without more behind Rudy, too much Davis, Kuzma, and this guy are going to end us in a 7 game series:

The positive is that regardless of how poorly we play we always seem to have a chance to win. Tonight we were on the road. We shot poorly. We let the opponent dictate the pace of the whole game. The bench struggled. We still only lost by one.

All four of our losses so far were winnable games if just one aspect of the game that was under our control was better.

Lakers game could have been a win if we took care of the ball better.

Clippers and Kings games could have been wins if we boxed out and grabbed rebounds.

Grizzlies game could have been a win if we controlled the pace instead of lettting them dictate.

Like we could realistically be 12-0 despite the Conley struggles, Ingles struggles, various injuries, etc. Says a lot about the potential of this team.

The Lakers can't shoot for **** and LeBron is their only shot creator off the bounce. We match up well against em. They didn't even shoot 40% from the field at home against us. Despite all that size they had a whole +2 advantage in points in the paint and only a +5 on the glass.

So I guess Quin should be mindful and save his timeouts just in case he needs to challenge something at the end of a game?! I don't know the rules just seem a bit screwy to me.
