Jazz Play Houston Today

As the result offensive minded teams like Portland, gsw and the rockets will have our number most times.

careful, ive too been saying this and getting "group-think" blasted on repeat.
 
Frustrating game. When 4/5 starters play well and the Jazz shoot 51% from the field and 44% from three. The Jazz even outrebounded Houston. What killed us was the fact Houston hardly turned the ball over and the Jazz turned the ball over 12 times.

Houston won the moment the jazz decided to play at a faster tempo with them.

The funny thing is Hayward said he wanted better talent around him. So it happens, guys play reasonably well tonight, and Hayward's the one who has been playing like crap the past few games.

Harden can take anyone off their feet. The way he is playing right now is pretty much as amazing as I've seen. His passing is a thing of beauty.
 
I'm not freaking out at all. I'm pissed that Quin lost us the game when he yanked Rudy and then lost us another by playing Diaw. He robbed us of our mojo. Now Hayward is imploding. This is rough. But Lyles and Exum are improving.
 
On defensive end our rotations are as bad as in Snyder's first half season. One interesting observation though is Kanter was blamed for that almost exclusively but now when helper doesn't get help and we give up layups and offensive rebounds night in and night out Lyles and Hood who are to blame most times get free pass on this board.

I also love Exum but to me it seems like he finds it more difficult to stay in front of quicker guards than before injury.

We are still a solid defensive team but there are no more stretches when we simply lock good teams down.

Lyles looked unfocused/lost at times today on the defensive end and even on offense, but he was making his shots. He's a weapon if he gets consistent.

I actually think Exum looks as good as ever. But he is now focused on scoring not just defending.
